Symbaloo is a visual bookmarking tool that helps you to organize and share the best of the web. They have recently launched a dedicated version for educators called SymbalooEDU. SymbalooEDU was created with input from teachers to ensure that it works great in classroom environments. With the ability to embed video and other web 2.0 tools. SymbalooEDU allows for the students to learn in a safe environment, giving freedom to the students while teaching them responsibility for their learning. SymbalooEDU also takes sharing knowledge beyond the classroom by gathering great online resources and making them available for everyone. There are multiple ways to use SymbalooEDU, allowing each teacher to use it in a way that best fits the needs of their class (e-portfolio, PLE, presentation tool, lesson plans, startpage).
