Just the links, m’am – checkin’ out ReadTwit
Twitter has been one of my primary sources for professional development for quite some time. My PLN consistently shares amazing resources that can be useful to myself or my staff. However, as my network grows, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep up with all of the great things being shared. This is where ReadTwit comes in.
ReadTwit takes all of the links from your Twitter feed and creates a clean, manageable RSS feed for them.
What’s great about this service is that if the link shared is an image, the image will be visible in my feed so I do not have to click through the link to see that image. Here is what the Reader entry looks like for a link to an image:
If the link is to a video, same thing, the video is shown in my Google Reader and I do not have to go to YouTube to view the video:
This tool has become incredibly useful for me to easily keep track of all of the amazing resources my fabulous PLN shares with me.
